The easiest way to identify diamonds

1. White paper identification

　　 Prepare a piece of white paper, draw a horizontal line on the paper, place the loose diamond face down on the horizontal line, and then look down from the back. Since diamonds have a high refractive index, the higher the refractive index, the stronger the reflection, and the corresponding transparency will decrease. So if the line below can be seen through the diamond, then it is a fake diamond.

　　 Two, dripping method

　　Diamond is hydrophobic. If you drop water on the diamond, it will not spread out immediately. However, this method is suitable for larger diamonds and is convenient for observation.
