What about cvd diamonds?

CVD diamond is a kind of polycrystalline diamond synthesized from diamond crystals with a diameter of 10 to 30 nanometers. Simply put, it is a diamond grown in a laboratory.

What is the difference between cvd diamonds and diamonds?

   1. Growth environment.

From the perspective of the growth environment, cvd diamonds are cultivated in the laboratory through some special methods. It is a man-made diamond with a short time of formation. Diamonds are different. Diamonds, commonly known as diamonds, exist in nature. They have no comparable hardness in nature at present. They have been formed for tens of millions of years or even hundreds of millions of years. They are a precious resource that cannot be regenerated.

  1. Color.

Most cvd diamonds are yellow or thirsty yellow, and they also have an hourglass-like color band. However, natural diamonds are mostly colorless and light yellow, and there are some rare blacks, reds, etc., which can be easily distinguished. .

  3, characteristics.

Cvd diamonds lack the colorless to light yellow series of natural diamonds in the 415 nanometer spectrum, and natural diamonds have the characteristics of birefringence, but cvd diamonds do not. The characteristics of cvd diamond crystals are mainly octahedrons and cubic aggregates.
